Individual, Group, and Family Therapy
ATTCH offers individual therapy through Lori Gill Psychotherapy Inc., to help the individuals we work with heal in a manner that promotes authenticity, emotional regulation, empowerment, and self-compassion. Our approach differs from traditional talk therapy in that we use a wide variety of holistic and evidence-supported approaches to best meet the unique needs of the person we are working with. Our approaches will vary according to individual needs and may include Structured Sensory Interventions, art focused therapy, mindfulness, neurofeedback, biofeedback, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), somatic interventions, yoga and meditation. Our primary focus is on that of creating a sense of safety and harmonizing the psychological, cognitive, and physiological responses of the body. Trauma and attachment dysregulation impacts our body and mind, as a result we seek to provide relief from this and empowerment to overcome traumatic experiences. Generally we find people respond well to the approaches that we use and observe a reduction of symptoms leading to resilience later in life.
Although our clinicians specialize in trauma and attachment, they are also experienced in general areas such as emotional regulation, mental health, anger, addictions, suicide intervention, and holistic wellness. All staff are supervised by Lori Gill, Founder and Clinical Director, who is also a Certified Trauma and Attachment Specialist, Trainer, and Consultant Supervisor.
To begin the intake process please contact reception via email at [email protected] or by phone (905) 684-9333 to request an intake package be sent to you.
